Offering some of the fastest DVD reading and writing speeds available, the DVR-116D is capable of 20x DVD±R, 12x DVD±R DL, 8x DVD+RW and 6x DVD-RW writing speeds and a maximum DVD read speed of 16x. The drive also features internal mechanisms to reduce noise and protect against dust as well as support for Pioneer's new Optimum Write Speed technology.

Affordably priced, this read-only drive gives consumers the ability to watch Blu-ray movies on their computers. Along with 4x BD read speeds, the DX-4O1S is capable of reading DVD's at 12x and CD's at 32x.
CDRLabs has put together a brief review of Imation's new Atom Flash Drive. Roughly the size of a paperclip, the drive is less than 1.5 inches long and weighs in at less than an ounce. The Atom also includes password protection and drive partitioning software and is enhanced for Windows Vista ReadyBoost.

CDRLabs kicks off the week with a review of LG's new 22x "Super-Multi" drive, the LG GH22LP20. This highly anticipated drive features some of the fastest reading and writing speeds available. The GH22LP20 is capable of 22x DVD±R, 16x DVD±R DL, 8x DVD+RW, 6x DVD-RW and 12x DVD-RAM writing speeds and has a maximum DVD read speed of 16x. LG's new drive also offers a number of features, including support for technologies like LightScribe and SecurDisc.
CDRLabs finishes up the week with a review of Lite-On's new EZ-DUB enabled DVD writer, the DX-20A4PU. While affordably priced, this external drive sports some pretty impressive specs including 20x DVD±R, 8x DVD+RW, 6x DVD-RW, 8x DVD±R DL and 12x DVD-RAM writing speeds and a maximum DVD read speed of 16x. The DX-20A4PU also features many of the technologies we've come to expect from Lite-On including more advanced ones like SmartWrite and OverSpeed. More importantly, its EZ-DUB technology makes copying discs and backing up data a quick and easy process.
CDRLabs has put together a brief review of Western Digital's new dual-disk storage system, the My Book Mirror Edition. Like the name suggests, the My Book Mirror Edition automatically "mirrors" your data between the two disks so that if one should fail, your data will remain safe. The My Book Mirror Edition also features a built in capacity gauge and with its fan-less design and GreenPower hard drives, it uses a third less power than other dual-drive systems.
One of the latest additions to ASUS's already impressive line of DVD writers is the DRW-2014L1T. This Serial ATA equipped "Super-Multi" drive is capable of 20x DVD±R, 8x DVD+RW, 6x DVD-RW and 8x DVD±R DL writing speeds and a maximum DVD read speed of 16x. On top of that, it's one of the few drives with the ability to write to DVD-RAM media at 14x. Along with support for HP's LightScribe Direct Disc Labeling system, the DRW-2014L1T also includes features like 48x CD reading and writing speeds, 32x rewriting speeds and support for ASUS's FlextraLink and FlextraSpeed technologies.
