Addonics Technologies today announced the Blu-Ray/DVD DigiCopier, an advanced duplicator that lets you make copies of Blu-Ray, DVD or CD discs (that are not copy protected) without a computer.
Equipped with the latest high-speed SATA optical drives, the new product duplicates media by simply by placing the master disc into a source drive on top of the unit and a blank media into another drive. Among its applications are education, corporate training, audio/video publishing, and marketing/advertising.
Four models are available and offer simultaneous disc duplication from one to 11 copies. Each model is equipped with a user-friendly LCM control module that provides a rich set of configuration choices.

Verbatim’s new range of 2.5’’ SATA II SSDs (Solid State Drive) are an ideal hard drive replacement storage solution for notebook and desktop PCs. The advantages of SSDs have been well documented: They use semi-conductor flash memory chips to store data so, unlike Hard Disk Drives, have no moving parts. This makes them more mechanically stable and far less prone to failure. Additionally they make no noise and use very little energy. The SATA II SSD is shock and vibration resistant making it more durable in harsher environments, and offers faster system performance than a standard hard drive.

The GoFlex module is built into the chassis, but will also be available as a standalone retail kit. The module also features a tool-less internal mount for users to install a second 2.5-inch Solid State Drive. Micron Technology, Inc. today announced a new portfolio of PCI Express (PCIe) solid-state storage systems, the RealSSD P320h solid-state drive (SSD) series. This new RealSSD P320h series delivers extreme performance and endurance demanded by data-intensive enterprise applications including cloud computing, high-performance computing, data analytics, business intelligence, and video on demand. These new forms of data storing, accessing and sharing are quickly challenging the typical enterprise storage model of spinning disks, presenting great opportunity for PCIe SSDs.
