Millenniata announced today it entered into a reseller agreement with Vinpower Digital, one of the leading global providers of digital data duplication equipment, who will resell Millenniata's M-DISC™ to its global customers. The M-DISC will provide mass permanent archival and backup storage with Vinpower's M-DISC compatible duplicators.
"This is a significant reseller agreement," said Scott Shumway, Millenniata CEO. "With its global customer and channel base, Vinpower is positioned very well to bring the benefits of M-DISC permanent storage on a mass basis throughout the world."
Vinpower Digital is a manufacturer and global supplier of reliable and advanced digital duplication equipment. The company has production and sales facilities in Taiwan and China, a sales office in Germany and is headquartered in the United States.

Synology today announced the official release of DiskStation Manager 4.0 (DSM 4.0). In just 50 days the DSM 4.0 beta program hit a new record in excess of 90,000 downloads, achieving an average of one download per minute.
