Plextor unveils its latest combo DVD re-writer that also plays Blu-ray movies. The Plextor PX-B320SA is a internal DVD drive for PCs and uses a SATA connection. A highly cost-effective drive, it offers an ideal entry into high definition playback for consumers that are upgrading or replacing hardware.
In addition, Plextor has added extra convenience by including LightScribe technology to enable custom text and designs to be printed/burned onto discs.

The PX-B320SA not only plays the latest Blu-ray movies, but is also a highly versatile dual-layer DVD drive that combines multiple formats - DVD R/RW and RAM - into one. It can accept both 12cm and 8cm discs and has a 2MB buffer to ensure there is no data interruption. Write speeds: 8x BD-ROM, 6x BD-R/BD-RE, 4x BD-ROM/BD-R/BD-RE DL, 16x DVD+R/-R, 8x DVD+RW, 6x DVD-RW, 8x DVD+/-R DL, 12x DVD-RAM, 16x DVD-ROM, 48x CD-R 32x CD-RW and 48x CD-ROM.
The Plextor PX-B320SA will be available from early November 2009 at Plextor’s network of dealers.
