The MN2LP is a compact 2-bay network attached storage for the sharing of files via home or office network. The MobileNAS MN2LP is designed to provide such data sharing with RAID redundancy against hard drive failures. Aside from data sharing, the MN2LP could also be used as centralized data storage to backup personal data for computers. Compatible with Windows (via CIFS), MAC (via Apple Bonjour Network) and Linux (via NFS), the MN2LP effortlessly supports simultaneous access from computers running different operating systems. Pioneer announced today that its new slim, portable DVD writer, the DVR-XD08, is now available across Europe. This USB bus powered drive is capable of 8x DVD±R, 6x DVD±R DL, 8x DVD+RW, 6x DVD-RW and 5x DVD-RAM writing speeds and a maximum DVD read speed of 8x.
