WD, known for its hard disk drive leadership in the desktop, mobile and consumer marketplaces, today announced its entry into the traditional enterprise market segment with volume production shipments of its first 10,000 RPM, 2.5-inch, small form factor, SAS interface hard drives. The WD S25 provides up to 300 GB of high-performance storage suitable for both mission-critical enterprise server and enterprise storage applications, such as high-I/O-driven applications and configurations, as well as data centers and large data arrays.

Kingston Digital, Inc., the Flash memory affiliate of Kingston Technology Company, Inc., the independent world leader in memory products, today announced it has joined with Paramount Digital Entertainment (PDE), a division of Paramount Pictures, to deliver full-length motion picture feature films on Kingston® Flash memory products. The movies on Kingston memory will be available to consumers as part of a bundle package and for sale.

Digital media technology company Copytrax have announced the launch of their Copytrax NS2100 CD, DVD and Blu Ray network publishing system, a system that will enable companies and organisations to efficiently create CD's and DVD's for products such as music, film, software and games, as well as corporate data, presentations and product data. This “Multi-platform” Windows, Mac OS & Linux, Network Connected Machine is capable of copying data to disk and printing on body labels, delivering finished digital media.
