Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., a world leader in digital consumer electronics and information technology, today announced the G Series, its new line-up of external hard drives, designed under an eco-friendly green concept. The new G series strengthen Samsung’s external drive portfolio of 1.8”, 2.5” and 3.5” drives, targeting the young adult market, which are looking for a fashionably styled mobile drive but that is also reliable with high density.
Samsung’s new G-Series, introduced at the International Consumer Electronics Show, consists of the 2.5-inch G2 Portable with 250/320/500/640GB densities and the 3.5-inch G3 Station available in 1/1.5/2TB versions.

KMG Digital announced today that Eastman Kodak Company has designated KMG as the exclusive worldwide licensee for Kodak branded optical blank media products and media accessories. Under this agreement, KMG will market Kodak branded products including recordable optical blank CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray discs and media accessories.
Memorex and Maxell Industry veteran Michael Golacinski established KMG Digital for worldwide sales and marketing of Kodak optical blank media. KMG Digital is based in Rochester, New York and will also have worldwide sales and marketing operations in Los Angeles, California.
The goal of the new KMG organization is to increase the worldwide distribution and sales of Kodak branded optical media and accessory products, with a focus on office superstores, electronic specialty, discount, member club stores as well as strategic online partners.
Haier is expanding its line of home DVD products with the introduction of two new Blu-ray players that will enhance the movie watching experience. With full HD 1080p and streaming Internet video, the players support the high-definition content of Blu-ray discs and instantly stream thousands of movies and TV programs from Netflix or music from Pandora. BD Live 2.0 capable for access to added features on Blu-ray discs and compatible with video formats including BD-R/RE (BDMV and BDAV modes), AVCHD, DVD+R/+RW, DVD-R/-RW, CD, CD-R/RW (CD-DA format), and JPEG on BD/DVD/CD recordable media.

Sony today introduced its new Blu-ray Disc™ line featuring Blu-ray 3D™ playback, Wi-Fi® Internet connectivity, and instant streaming of online video content from the BRAVIA® Internet Video platform.
