Designed to meet the needs of business professionals, both the APOGEE Neo Squeeze Plus and APOGEE S Series are light and slim. At only 57.5 x 19 x 8.8 mm (L.W.H.) and 55.5 x 21.8 x 10.2 mm (L.W.H.) for the Neo Squeeze Plus and S101, respectively, both flash drives are as light as 20g with the Surface Mount Technology (SMT) PCB Assembly. Seagate today introduced the next evolution of the company’s award-winning FreeAgent® external hard drives—its new GoFlex™ storage solutions. This new family of external drives and accessories introduces a new level of flexibility to traditional USB 2.0 storage that will change the way people store, access, enjoy and share their digital content. The FreeAgent® GoFlex™ storage family includes easy, plug-and-play portable and desktop drives, with an array of interchangeable cables and desktop adapters that allow each drive to adapt to the interface or device being used. GoFlex hard disk drives are also specially designed to provide interoperability between operating systems in order to work with both Microsoft® Windows® and Mac® OS X computers.

Lexar Media today announced it has begun shipping the ultra-portable Lexar® Echo SE and Lexar Echo ZE flash-based drives to traditional and online retail channels. Netbook and notebook users can now automatically and conveniently back up files while on the go, using the plug-and-stay, low-profile ZE or the high-capacity, high-performance SE drive.
During the month of May 2010, the Echo SE and ZE drives will be available exclusively through online retailer Amazon.com in the U.S. The Echo line will also be available for purchase through brick-and-mortar outlets in select countries worldwide, including Staples in the United Kingdom, FNAC in France, Media Markt in Germany, and top consumer electronics stores in Italy.
