CyberLink again pioneers the Blu-ray format advancement – PowerProducer is now the world’s first Blu-ray authoring software certified by the Blu-ray Disc Association (BDA) with full support for the Blu-ray Disc technology BDXL. Released by BDA in June 2010, BDXL is a multi-layer recordable Blu-ray format with up to 128GB of capacity.
As world’s first BDXL-certified authoring software, CyberLink PowerProducer supports enhanced Blu-ray Disc recordable and rewritable format, providing amazing capabilities of creating compelling video and slideshow of up to 4 layers of data totaling 128GB on a single Blu-ray Disc. This is the third software from CyberLink to be world’s first supporting BDXL certifications in different software categories. LSI Corporation today introduced in the channel the LSI WarpDrive SLP-300 acceleration card, a PCI Express (PCIe) card offering performance up to 240,000 sustained IOPS and 300GB of SLC solid-state storage capacity within a low profile form factor. Sonic Solutions today announced the integration of the RoxioNow platform into HDTV chipsets from leading system-on-chip (SoC) maker Trident Microsystems, Inc. With built-in RoxioNow capabilities, consumers of Trident-based HDTVs can enjoy instant access to a wide array of premium entertainment offerings streamed directly to their sets over the Internet, including new-release movies and hit TV shows. By partnering with Trident, whose customers include some of the world's best-known television brands, the agreement continues Sonic's string of successes in extending RoxioNow support across the broadest possible range of televisions, set-top boxes, media players, and mobile devices.
