Addonics Technologies today announced the CF/CFast Duplicator, a fast and economical solution for making copies of CF or CFast media. The new product comes in a range of models to allow users to duplicate four, five or 10 media. Prices start at $699 for the 1:5 and $1299 for the 1:10 CF or CFast Duplicator.

The CF/CFast Duplicator is easy to operate. Simply insert a source media into the source slot and then insert the target media with equal or larger capacity into a destination slot.  Next, you push a copy button and that starts the copying process. There is no complicated software to run.

NTI Corporation today announced Echo, a smart cloning software that delivers the ability to easily clone a PC's old drive to a new drive. NTI is an award-winning software developer and has created Echo for bundling with solid-state drives (SSD), hard disk drives (HDD), and hybrid drives.

SanDisk Corporation, the global leader in flash memory cards, today announced that Imation Corp. has signed a patent cross-license agreement with SanDisk to settle two cases filed by SanDisk in Federal District Court against Imation alleging infringement of flash memory system-level patents.

Under the terms of the cross-license, Imation will pay SanDisk royalties on various flash memory products, including USB flash drives and solid state disk (“SSD”) drives. In addition, Imation entered into a stipulated judgment of infringement and validity in SanDisk’s favor on claims of U.S. Patent No. 7,137,011, which covers the use of certain encryption technology in a memory card.
