VSO Software releases today DVD Converter, a program to convert DVD movies into any format. In a 3-step process, DVD videos and ISO images can be converted into AVI, DVD, MKV, PS3, Divx, iPad, iPhone or Ipod format and burnt to DVD if needed. Micron Technology, Inc., today introduced a new solid-state drive (SSD), providing enterprise customers with a compelling price-to-performance NAND Flash memory storage option. This new drive is designed for read caching, direct attached storage (DAS) and booting virtual desktop infrastructures — all key applications for servers and blade designs.
The new drive, called the RealSSD™ P400e, enhances Micron's tiered enterprise SSD portfolio with an entry-level enterprise solution. Micron's portfolio now covers the entire enterprise storage spectrum, from boot applications (the new RealSSD P400e), to data storage (RealSSD P300) and caching applications (RealSSD P320h).

JVC Archival Grade DVD-R complies to the Optical Disc Archive Test ISO/1EC10995 which states that recorded data can be retained safely for more than 30 years under a temperature of 25 degrees Celsius and with 50% relative humidity. The nonprofit organization, ADTC, carried out the test and certified.
JVC’s Archival Grade DVD-R delivers long term data retention by the use of the company’s own specially-developed dye, which controls the initial writing error at low levels. The reflective layer was also specially-developed for archival use and is designed to last the lifetime of the media.

Intel Corporation announced today its latest solid-state drive (SSD), the Intel® Solid-State Drive 710 Series, a purpose-built Multi-Level Cell (MLC) data center SSD and replacement for the Intel® X25-E Extreme SSD. While the Intel X25-E was based on more expensive but highly reliable Single-Level Cell (SLC) NAND flash memory, the Intel SSD 710 uses compute-quality Intel 25-nanomenter (nm) MLC NAND flash memory with Intel High Endurance Technology (HET) to deliver the endurance and performance necessary for data center, financial services, embedded, Internet portal, search engine and other demanding storage and server applications, but at a greater value.

ArcSoft, Inc., an industry leading software provider of multimedia technologies and applications across desktop, mobile and embedded platforms, today announced that the company will demonstrate an Intel Wireless Display (Intel WiDi) compatible version of the recently released ShowBiz 5 movie making and sharing application at the Intel Developer Forum in San Francisco.
The primary benefit of Intel WiDi for ShowBiz 5 users is the preview window within the software can be shared to an external display wirelessly, allowing the users to see how their movie will look on the big screen without first having to create a DVD, Blu-ray Disc, or hassle with connecting the PC to the TV. Users will simply need to have a compatible Windows 7 laptop, a compatible wireless adapter for their TV (connect to TV via HDMI or Composite A/V inputs), and the free Intel WiDi widget installed on the laptop. Additionally, the Intel WiDi compatible version of ShowBiz 5 will need to be installed. Availability of this version will be announced shortly and it will be a free update for current ShowBiz 5 users.
