Power Quotient International (PQI) has just announced the launch of its all-new U280L USB Traveling Disk today. The device’s small and compact design was inspired by computer keyboards and, at a mere 0.68 cm thick, is roughly the same size as a single key. When plugged into an Ultrabook, Notebook, or Tablet PC, it remains firmly attached and takes up almost no extra space. Rimage Corporation, the leader in secure digital content management and delivery solutions, today announced the launch of Blu Lock anti-rip copy protection technology for Blu-ray Discs. Blu Lock is the first anti-rip copy protection technology that integrates directly into the Rimage Blu-ray Disc publishing solution, allowing a broad range of businesses to deliver digital content securely to their customers. Blu Lock will be available in late June 2012.
Blu Lock’s anti-rip copy protection provides on-the-fly protection of commercial and pre-release Blu-ray video content. “Currently the distribution of Blu-ray video content is at risk due to the lack of a high-definition anti-rip copy protection technology. Embedded computing OEMs are seeking ways to shorten their design cycles and save precious space inside their systems. Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCE) today announced that it will launch "nasne™," a new networked recorder and media storage device with built in 500GB hard disk drive (HDD) and digital terrestrial and satellite broadcast tuners. "nasne" will become available in Japan on July 19, 2012, for a recommended retail price of 16,980 yen (including tax).
By connecting "nasne" to their home network, users will be able to watch and record digital terrestrial and satellite broadcast through dedicated applications such as "torne" for PlayStation®3 (PS3®) and "VAIO TV with nasne" for VAIO. Users will also be able to access recorded content from PlayStation®Vita (PS Vita), "Sony Tablet" and Xperia™. In addition, "nasne" will be able to stream live or recorded television programs simultaneously onto two of these supported Sony products, allowing multiple users to view the same content within the same home network. "nasne" will also link with "G GUIDE TV OUKOKU CHAN-TORU", a television guide web service for PC and smart phones provided by So-net Entertainment Corporation. Through "G GUIDE TV OUKOKU CHAN-TORU", users will be able to schedule recordings of television programs on the go from their PS Vita, PC, tablet PCs, and smart phones.

Today at the National Association of Broadcasters Convention (NAB), mLogic LLC announced that the company’s mLink PCIe to Thunderbolt expansion chassis will be demonstrated on the trade show floor.
