Imation Corp., a global scalable storage and data security company, today announced beta availability of its IronKey Workspace, certified for deployment of Windows To Go. The IronKey Workspace lets organizations outfit mobile professionals with a secure, fast USB platform to run Windows To Go from a USB stick on multiple compatible PCs, an ideal solution for teleworkers, contractors, and those implementing BYOD (“bring your own device”) strategies.
The IronKey Workspace is certified for deployment of Windows To Go, a feature of Windows 8 that lets enterprise users boot a full version of Windows 8 from an external USB drive on compatible host PCs.

Synology Inc. today announced selected DiskStation and RackStation are officially certified for Microsoft Windows Server 2012, which delivers important advancements to help businesses increase IT efficiency as well as achieve a new level of availability.
The compelling combination of Synology NAS server and the new Windows Server® 2012 operating system entitles businesses to boost performance and flexibility when migrating running virtual machine without downtime. Additionally, the full Windows Server 2012 support ensures business continuity and minimizes disaster recovery time with real-time virtual machine remote replication. The combined virtualized platform also enables enterprises to flexibly leverage the new VHDX format and its ability of supporting up to 64TB storage per virtual hard disk. Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., the world leader in advanced memory technology, today announced a next-generation 64GB embedded multimedia card (eMMC) using 10 nanometer (nm)-class process technology. The new 64Gb NAND memory went into production late last month.

Toshiba's Digital Products Division (DPD), a division of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., today announced the wireless LAN embedded SD memory card "FlashAir." The FlashAir is a standard SDHC (High Capacity) card that incorporates a wireless LAN chip set plus antenna for wireless communications. Addonics Technologies today announced the USB HDD/Flash Duplicator, a USB device designed to operate as a stand-alone appliance for copying data from a single USB drive onto multiple USB drives at one time.
The USB HDD duplicator comes in a choice of three models that duplicate data onto 7, 15 or 31 targets. The new duplicator is an ideal tool for distributing content on flash drive, flash card or USB hard drives. The source and target can be any USB storage - hard drive, thumb drive or any flash card inserted into a USB flash reader, which makes this family of duplicators a convenient tool for transferring content between hard drives, flash drives and different type of flash media.
The 1:7 USB duplicator copies up to as many as seven USB drives at one time from a single USB source. Each USB port is designed to provide adequate power to operate all self-powered USB storage devices, including most 2.5" USB hard drives.
There is no computer or software needed. Simply attach the master USB drive to the source USB port and other USB drives into any target USB ports, press the copy button, and the duplication process starts automatically.
