ASUSTOR Inc., a leading innovator and provider of network storage solutions, has announced the release of the new innovatively enhanced version of the AiMaster mobile app. This new version of AiMaster is the first mobile app in the NAS industry that allows users to initialize their system and create RAID volumes along with other basic configurations.
Users can also use AiMaster to log in to ASUSTOR’s App Central and install Apps for their NAS. Furthermore, users can connect to other related ASUSTOR Apps from within AiMaster, allowing them to quickly handle tasks such as finding files, viewing photos, listen to music or monitoring surveillance feeds. Synology America Corp. today announced that the DiskStation DS215j is now available for purchase and the DS115 will be available next week.
"The DS215j and the DS115 were delayed in Q4 due to the west coast dock issues, and with this behind us, we've seen a lot of demand for these new models, and we're really excited to see them available in the US and soon in Canada," said Jason Bonoan, Product Marketing Manager at Synology America Corp.

ASUSTOR Inc., a leading innovator and provider of network storage solutions, announced the release of the ASUSTOR Data Master (ADM) 2.4 beta version. ADM is the exclusive operating system for ASUSTOR NAS. Following the release of ADM 2.3, the release of the ADM 2.4 beta version allows users to experience newly optimized performance and enhanced core system functions.
One of the upgraded core functions is the brand new shared folder encryption mechanism which effectively increases data encryption speeds while properly releasing storage space previously occupied by already deleted files to slim down the capacity occupied by encrypted data. With regards to encrypted folders that were created using ASUSTOR’s previous encryption method, a conversion function is provided on the settings page for easy converting without any complicated steps. Another newly added core function is support for the SSD Trim command which allows SSDs installed on the NAS to maintain stable read/write performance while simultaneously controlling the frequency of overwriting to specific blocks, extending the life of SSDs.

Synology Inc. today announced the official release of Surveillance Station 7.0, the latest version of its robust video management system. Surveillance Station 7.0 features a refreshed visual design, easy task automation, integration for network door controllers and other connected devices, expanded support for specialized cameras, and ONVIF 2.4 compliance.
