Synology today launched RackStation RS10613xs+, an enterprise-class NAS server with ultra-high performance of 400,000 read IOPS and robust scalability of up to 106 drives, plus multiple layers of reliability for service continuity.
The RS10613xs+ supports SAS/SATA 6G interface and SSD drives, and is scalable up to 424TB capacity when connected with eight RX1213sas expansion units. Powered by Xeon® Quad Core™ 3.3 GHz CPU and 8GB ECC RAM upgradable to 32GB, RS10613xs+ reaches more than 2,000 MB/s read throughput in RAID 5 via supported dual 10GbE connections. Additionally, the implementation of SSD cache technology optimizes its performance of random read-intensive workloads, increasing reading IOPS by over 50%.
