Seagate Technology plc today announced Seagate Business Storage, its newest network-attached storage (NAS) product line for small office / home office (SOHO), remote mobile office (RMO) and small to medium-sized business organizations (SMBs). To address the changing needs of growing businesses, Seagate Business Storage delivers centralized backup, data protection and remote access to critical business information in capacities ranging from 2TB up to 16TBs.
For business collaboration and backup protection, the new Seagate Business Storage provides a secure cost-effective solution that works well with existing cloud backup and online sharing services. Business Storage’s centralized backup capability takes the guesswork out of providing employees with backup protection and sharing across multiple computing platforms. QNAP, Inc. launches its latest mid level NAS Series, the TS-x69 Pro and TS-x69L Series with XBMC.
The TS-x69 Pro and L series are powered by an Intel Atom 2.13 GHz Dual-Core processor with expandable memory up to 3GB. The XBMC Media Center feature allows users to directly connect the NAS through their TV’s HDMI port for direct media playback. Users can now watch their favorite movies, videos, listen to their favorite music, and view their photos directly on their TV. With XBMC, users can also manage their video library, create/manage their own personal music playlists and create their own photo slideshows.

QNAP Inc. introduced the new TS-x70U-RP series Turbo NAS to its US market this week. The new series, TS-x70U-RP, stands out with its economical 10GbE capability and retains all the same features.
The new TS-x70U-RP series NAS is powered by a high performance Dual-core Intel 2.4GHz CPU and is equipped with 4GB DDR3 RAM with upgradable option up to 16GB.
