Miracast, a wireless standard that enables streaming of video between computing devices, is natively supported in the recently released Microsoft® Windows® 8.1 operating system. Today’s update to PowerDVD 13 lets users running PowerDVD on a Windows 8.1 system to wirelessly stream the highest quality video (including protected premium content) from PC to compatible Wi-Fi Direct devices such as TVs, phones and tablets.
