Nero released a new version of Nero 7 this morning. There is no change log yet. However, this new update brings the version count up to 7.2.7.0. CyberLink sent out a press release this morning, announcing that they've been working with Sun Microsystems to incorporate Java technology into PowerDVD BD Edition.
CyberLink Corp. (5203.TW), a world leader in digital home solutions, announced today that PowerDVD BD Edition incorporates Java technology, providing full BD-J advanced content support for Blu-ray Discs played via PowerDVD.

BD-J enables bonus content on Blu-ray Disc titles to support a wide range of compelling new features, including rich interactivity and advanced menus, movie-related gaming, and network access that supports features like the download of trailers or live events.

BD-J is based on the Java Micro Edition (JME) from Sun Microsystems, which is also found in over a billion mobile phones and millions of televisions, set-top boxes, automobiles, and other embedded devices. Sun worked closely with CyberLink to integrate Sun's Java CDC Hotspot Implementation into CyberLink PowerDVD BD Edition, ensuring best-in-class performance and compatibility.

Sonic Solutions has announced that their Roxio Roxio BD software is being bundled with Sony's new Blu-ray equipped VIAO PC's, the AR notebook and RC desktop. Here's part of their press release:

Ulead a new version of their DVD MovieFactory software. According to their press release, DVD MovieFactory 5 Plus includes additional content and templates, support for LabelFlash and new applications like the Blu-ray Direct-to-Disc Recorder.

CyberLink sent out a press release today, announcing that their BD Solution suite is being shipped with HLDS' new Blu-ray Disc writer, the GBW-H10N.
CyberLink Corp. (5203.TW), a world leader in digital home solutions, announced today that CyberLink BD Solution is being shipped with HLDS' latest BD-RE burners, the GBW-H10N drive series.

CyberLink's BD Solution includes applications for file archiving and media burning directly to disc. The suite features data burning software Power2Go, archiving software PowerBackup, and packet-writing software InstantBurn. Users can also enjoy DVD playback via PowerDVD, and create stylish DVD menus with authoring software PowerProducer.
