Acronova Technology, Inc. unveils Xymba XB47LS, the automated CD/DVD publisher that works with a desktop or laptop computer and software to continuously burn and label discs for on-demand publishing applications such as electronic content management, data backup, archiving, healthcare, marketing, and audio/video distributions.
Xymba XB47LS has two built-in optical disc drives; one for burning data and the other for labeling LightScribe discs. After a disc is burned with data, the patent pending DiscFlip mechanism moves the disc to the second drive for labeling, so that each disc could be labeled corresponding to its data content. Xymba XB47LS integrates the innovative LightScribe technology that burns high-resolution and sharp labels directly onto CDs and DVDs. Because the labels are laser-etched -- not printed -- there is no ink, no smudging, and no peeling.
Xymba’s lockable cabinet protects discs from dust and unauthorized access. Thanks to the first-in-first-out loader design, refilling discs is as simple as adding more discs on top of the current ones. Even with 80-disc capacity, the neatly designed, compact footprint makes Xymba quite the space saver.
Xymba XB47LS comes with QQboxx, the multi-functional disc burning and labeling software that takes care of disc-to-disc duplication, burn files and images to discs, read discs and save the files to hard disk drives, and others. A Software Development Kit (SDK) is available at www.lightscribe.com to developers who choose to program their own application software for XB47LS integration.
At an MSRP of $1495, Xymba XB47LS is a bargain for offices, studios, clinics, libraries, consulting professionals, small and mid-sized businesses that are seeking an affordable, compact, functional, high quality CD and DVD publisher for in-house and on-demand disc publishing.
