The new line lowers power consumption and improves overall system reliability for application environments with frequent shocks and vibrations because SSDs have no moving parts unlike traditional hard drives.

The Sapphire 5-slot CFast drive is for CFast media. The Sapphire CF is for CF. Both offer a flexible platform with USB 3.0 or eSATA interfaces for creating your own SSD storage solution using commercially available high-speed CFast cards.

apacer_as710_ssd.pngIn a digital information era pursuing speed and efficiency, Apacer launches its latest portable SSD AS710 to deliver smoother and more convenient high-speed transmission experience. The drive takes the lead with SATA III and USB 3.0 dual interfaces and supports Windows-To-Go function. In addition, AS710 features compact size, anti-collision and anti-shock protection, leading mobile storage solutions forward to the new field for high efficiency and ultimate speed.

AS710, the first SSD equipped with SATA III and USB 3.0, is comprised of strictly selected and stable flash chips and adopts two-in-one high-speed transmission interface design. Actual test shows that data access through SATA III interface enables the read speed up to 550MB/s, and the sequential write speed reaches up to 530MB/s. It also demonstrates industry-leading read/write speed up to 380/420MB/s when connected to USB 3.0 interface for file transmission. For example, it takes less than 15 seconds to copy an HD video that is 5GB in size.Users can enjoy an immediate start-up and ongoing high quality operations in both business and leisure time use.

atp_velocity_si_lite_ssd.pngATP, a leading industrial grade Flash memory manufacturer, announced the new release of its new industrial grade SATA II SLC SSD, Velocity SI-Lite. The new SSD utilizes the latest generation SLC Flash with industrial grade performance, endurance and wide temperature ranges. With unique requirements for the industrial environments, Velocity SI-Lite comes with the data-integrity-calibrated firmware technologies to protect the data storage device against various power-down and intensive read/write scenarios.

Data integrity is the key for a Flash storage device to survive rough industrial environments. The cutting-edge SI-Lite firmware has taken into account multiple power outage conditions during different read/write timing and the product has passed several thousands of power cycles during the strict product qualification process. The “AutoRefresh” feature provides automatic ECC checks before any uncorrectable failure occurs during read operations. AutoRefresh also moves data to healthy blocks before any failures occur, improving long-term data integrity. The high density SI-Lite has more than twenty times program/erase life cycles over other MLC Flash based industrial SSDs on the market and with more than 1500TB of total bytes written.
