Lexar, a leading global brand of flash memory products, today announced the company's first High-Endurance microSDHC™ and microSDXC™ UHS-I memory cards. On display at Photokina 2016, the new Lexar® High-Endurance microSD™ cards are built to withstand the extensive write/erase cycles security cameras and dash cams can demand. The cards can record and safely store up to 12,000* hours of 1080p full-HD video footage.

Lexar, a leading global brand of flash memory products, today announced two high-performance storage solutions to easily transfer and share content between devices with USB Type-C or micro-USB port. The Lexar JumpDrive C20c USB Type-C flash drive (USB-C) and JumpDrive C20m micro-USB flash drive are the newest products to join the premium suite of C-series mobile products, including the Lexar JumpDrive C20i flash drive. The new JumpDrive products are being launched at Photokina 2016.

This premium 3-in-1 drive features both USB Type-C and standard USB-Type A connectors in a convenient charging cable design to provide high-speed performance for fast file transfer with speeds up to 150MB/s read and 60MB/s write. The Lexar JumpDrive C20m micro-USB flash drive is a 3-in-1 solution that features both micro-USB and standard USB Type-A connectors that allows users to easily transfer files between On-The-Go (OTG)-enabled Android™ tablets and smartphones. Both drives utilize USB 3.1 (Gen 1) performance for fast file transfer, with speeds up to 150MB/s read and 60MB/s write. Both JumpDrives are compatible with PC and Mac® systems and backwards compatible with USB 3.0 and 2.0 devices, and will be available in capacities of 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB. Both drives have a three-year limited warranty.

Toshiba America Electronic Components, Inc. (TAEC) has expanded its family of 24nm single-level cell (SLC) NAND flash memory solutions. The new 16 gigabit (Gb) BENAND™ is housed in an industry-standard 48-pin TSOP package, and offers a combination of high read/write performance, effective write endurance (using 8-bit BCH error correction code), and extended temperature operation. This makes it suitable for a wide variety of commercial and industrial applications.
The new addition rounds out Toshiba's broad SLC product lineup, allowing designers to take advantage of the price/performance of advanced 24nm NAND flash SLC technology at densities from 1Gb to 128Gb. Based on a 4x4Gb die, 16Gb BENAND operates from a power supply of 2.7V to 3.3V with a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. Many industrial applications have a long life expectancy. Toshiba designed BENAND with this in mind. With the ability to replace older generations of discrete SLC NAND, BENAND extends the product life of everything from telecom applications and LCD TVs to robots and printers – while also potentially reducing BOM costs.
According to Brian Kumagai, director of business development for TAEC, "SLC NAND is still very much an integral part of the overall NAND market, and leading-edge 24nm devices play a key role in enabling replacement of the older NAND devices that are still being used today."

Lexar, a leading global brand of flash memory products, today announced two new microSD readers: the Lexar C1 microSD Reader and the Lexar M1 microSD Reader. On display at Photokina 2016, the new C1 and M1 microSD Readers allow users to easily offload content from their sports camcorder or aerial camera to their devices.
The Lexar C1 microSD Reader is a small, compact reader designed for devices with a USB Type-C (USB-C) connector port, enabling users to freely transfer, view, and play back photos and videos on their smartphone or tablet. The Lexar M1 microSD Reader is equal in size and portability, but is designed for devices with a micro-USB port, such as Android™ smartphones and tablets.

Lexar, a leading global brand of flash memory products, today announced the new 256GB capacity Lexar® High-Performance 633x microSDXC™ UHS-I (U3) memory card. Designed for sports camcorders, tablets, and smartphones, the 633x microSDXC UHS-I card has read transfer speeds up to 95MB per second and can capture more than 36 hours of HD video; 67,600 photos; or 58,100 songs. Toshiba Europe GmbH (TEG) Storage Peripherals Division has introduced new entry internal 2.5”/7mm Solid State Drives (SSDs) that allow users to quickly and easily upgrade storage capacity and system performance. Featuring advanced, high-performance 15nm flash memory technology, the SSD A100 drives reduce power consumption, improve system responsiveness, shorten boot times and operate silently compared to conventional HDDs.
Available in 240 GB and 120 GB capacities, the SSD A100 drives combine advanced 3-bit-per-cell 15nm flash memory with Toshiba controller and SLC (single-level cell) cache technology. The drives are ideal for personal or office users looking to upgrade their PCs to a more responsive, power-efficient, shock-resistant solid-state internal hard drive.
Toshiba’s SLC write cache advanced speed technology optimises processing speed to deliver random read and write performance of up to 87000 IOPS and 82000 IOPS respectively. Sequential read speeds are 550MB/s and sequential write speeds are up to 480MB/s. A backward-compatible SATA III interface is rated for maximum data transfer rates of 6.0Gbit/s.
The A100 SSDs offer support for native command queuing (NCQ), S.M.A.R.T. (self-monitoring analysis and reporting technology) and TRIM (requiring OS support). MTTF ratings for A100 models are 1,500,000 hours.
