What new in lite-on's LTR-52246S lastest firmware (v6S08)?

The default is usually "match more media".

I just checked and there's still no update to the Lite On firmware area.
They still list 6s07 as the most current one.


But I've had good results with it.

With a 99 minute disc:



I was running Kazaa Light and a few other programs in the background. I suspect that's why the CPU % was so high.

I never noticed anything very different since the upgrade, so "match more media" is probably the benefit.

And that can just be attributed to measurement-to-measurement repeatibility error. The big non-news is that rewriting is still CAV. No P-CAV yet.

P.S. Am I the only one who finds Spazmogen's new icon vaguely distracting/disturbing when trying to read his posts?

you are not the only one, I find Spazmogen's new Icon not just disturbing but annoying, therefore although his comments and opions are usually well taken but because of his new Icon gets to my nerve I have been avoiding reading his replys.

I wish Spazmogen consider to have more relaxing and peaceful Icon but again I have no right to tell some one what to do or what to choose.
