you are right, my bad.
the H22N is a Panasonic-chipset based drive, and thus is CAV. so it's 18x CAV. and already burns a full disc in just over 5 minutes.
there is a possibility of aother drive H12N, which would be a Renesas chipset, and thus is expected to be a PCAV drive. 18x PCAV - quite possibly less than 5 minutes!
yeah, burn quality seems to be quite good with the latest LG drives (H10N/L, H20N, H22N) at least on quality media.
