If the Plextor drive only scans the media at 2x, then shouldn't you test the Lite On drive at 2x? The 4x scans on the Lite On should get worse results. It just doesn't seem like a fair comparison.

Both scan types were used to offer two different perspectives on the disc, not to show a comparison between the drives.

The point being made here is, no matter how you look at these discs, they are bloody good for DVDRW media! Again, not as good as Mitsubishi Chemicals, but still quite good! :D

Could someone do a comparison with the Lite On at 2x, so we can see the difference between the drives scans.

I understand that the previous scans were to show how good the media is.

I just want a comparison between the two, so I can see how different the results are.

Whoever does the comparison, could you please start a new thread, so we don't take away from the purpose of this one.

Aviationwiz,

Do you think you could do some scans with both drives at 2x to see how they compare?

Thank you :)
