I recently wrote some data for the first time with my Sony 48x24x48 high speed recorder to some Memorex High Speed 700mb/80min CD-RW disks which are supposed to be spec'ed for the writer and now the disks seem to be no good.
Won't show the data and has a hard time even getting recognized by machine. Can be erased but still has many problems with anything new, if it can be seen at all.
I tried both a registered version of Nero and the B' Recorder Gold that came with the player and still the same.
I've tried a few mp3's on fresh disks and that seems ok, can write, erase and rewrite but once I do it with this data its shot. BTW if I use the same data with cheap write only disks the disks and data are ok.
Anyone have any ideas what I may have done wrong, is there certain data that just shouldn't be written to certain kind's of disks?
Also is there a way to repair the damage I may have done to these rather expensive disks?
