The BUSLink RW5252 is a Lite-On LTR-52246S.
Update #1: At the time of this posting, Lite-On was the only OEM supplier of 52x24x52x burners for BUSLink. Now, AOpen is an OEM supplier as well. You can tell which burner you have by looking at the box (contrary to what BUSLink's official statement says): If you see the words "SMART-BURN" and "Smart-X," then that burner is an OEM Lite-On LTR-52246S. If you see the words "JustLink" and "JustSpeed," then chances are good that this particular burner is an OEM AOpen CRW5224. The OEM AOpen's firmware can be updated to accept AOpen's firmware for their retail burner...look at this thread to see how.
Update #2: MicroCenter reduced the original price from $79.99 to $69.99. With the $30 MIR from BUSLink still in effect, the net price is still $39.99.
BUSLink's $30 rebate offer expires March 2, 2003.
MicroCenter's $10 instant rebate offer expires February 9, 2003.
