Team Group Launches M131 USB Flash Drive With OTG Support

In response to the heated feedback and support since the Team Mobile Storage Series was launched, Team Group has recently launched a new member of series: M131 dual interfaces mobile UFD. The Team M131 also supports OTG smartphones and tablets and is equipped with dual interface USB 2.0 and Micro USB to enable you to link PCs and mobile devices to ubiquitously share data on the go (OTG)!

As a member of the Team Mobile Storage Series, the Team M131 adopts the dual-piece 2-in-1 design with the dual interface of Micro USB & standard USB 2.0 and three functions. Through the Micro USB interface, documents and video files in an Android mobile device can be stored in M131, and previously stored files can also be directly browsed. M131 has another function: The Micro USB to USB adapter. In addition to the original flash drive, it can be connected to other USB interface devices, such as a keyboard, mouse, and other USB products. With M131, you can connect computer, the devices with USB interface and mobile devices with ease. More importantly, M131 can be connected to a mobile phone and tablet PC with the maximum transmission bandwidth of 480Mbps, which is far higher than Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It provides high speed data transmission andsavesfees ofmobile network. Plus you can get rid of the hotspot restrictions to freely enjoy the fun and convenience of true mobile life. M131 is also a standard USB 2.0 flash drive that can be independently connected to the computerto easily storage all the files you want.

SK Hynix Begins Mass Production Of 16nm NAND Flash

SK Hynix Inc. announced that it has started full-scale mass production of 16nm 64Gb (Gigabit) MLC (Multi Level Cell) NAND Flash, which uses the industry’s thinnest process technology.

SK Hynix has been mass producing its 1st version of the world’s first 16nm NAND Flash since June and recently has started to mass produce the 2nd version which is more cost competitive due to its smaller chip size. In consequence, the Company geared up for strengthening its competitiveness in NAND Flash.

Also, the Company has developed 128Gb (16GB, 16Gigabytes), the highest density in a single MLC chip, based on the specification and endurance of 16nm 64Gb MLC. The product is planned to be mass produced from the beginning of next year.

Designed to support power-sensitive client computing applications as well as I/O-intensive enterprise and hyperscale environments, the new LSI SandForce SF3700 flash controller family provides the increased levels of flash performance, reliability and endurance needed to meet the exacting needs of SSD manufacturers.

The SF3700 family is the industry’s first flash controller that provides the flexibility to support both native PCIe Gen2 x4 and SATA 6Gb/s host interfaces in a single ASIC design.
