The VIA Labs VL811 hub controller adds a feature called "Charging Downstream Port," CDP, as defined in the USB Battery Charging Specification. CDP allows users to transfer data while simultaneously charging their device at the same rate as when charging from an AC adapter.
Synology America Corp. is pleased to announce the official release of its latest DiskStation Manager operating system, DSM 3.2; marking the end of a productive beta cycle. The beta program attracted more than 60,000 downloads, and went into official release on 6 September. The new release offers a number of improvements targeting business and creative users.
