Colorful Technology Company Limited, a leading manufacturer of PC hardware, has announced the introduction of three new PCIE SSD models and are the world’s first to feature the latest SiliconMotion controller 2262/2263/2263XTL: announcing the COLORFUL CN600 DRAM-less Series, CN600 DRAM series and CP600 iGame Series. Synology Inc. announced the official launch of new product lineup featuring:
- XS-series DS3018xs: Synology's first 6-bay tower NAS with optional 10GbE and M.2 SATA SSD supports
- Plus-series DS918+, DS718+, and DS218+: Greater performance and data resiliency for intensive workloads
- Value-series DS418: Introduction of 4K online transcoding capability
To allow for ultra-high performance using SSD cache without occupying internal drive bays, DS3018xs features a PCIe slot, which can be installed with a dual M.2 SATA SSD adapter card (M2D17). DS918+ comes with dedicated dual M.2 NVMe slots at the bottom where you can directly install M.2 NVMe SSDs. DS418 features 10-bit H.265 4K video transcoding.
XS-series:

QNAP Systems, Inc. today released the TS-x31P2 (available in 2-bay and 4-bay) and TS-431X2 (4-bay) Series with quad-core processors, providing SMB and SOHO users with a more powerful NAS for their collaborative workflows and resource-demanding applications. Both series support Snapshots, allowing users to easily restore the NAS to a previous state in the event of an unexpected NAS failure or when struck by a ransomware attack (The Snapshots feature will be available from QTS 4.3.4). The TS-431X2 also features a 10GbE SFP+ port for empowering containerized applications by using 10GbE networks.

Toshiba America Electronic Components, Inc. (TAEC), a committed technology leader, today announces its new MQ04 Series 1TB HDD, which is compatible with notebook PCs, game systems, all-in-one slim-line desktop systems, set-top box appliances, and other applications requiring high capacity and durability storage.
The MQ04 Series single-disk model delivers 1TB of data storage capacity in an ultra-compact 2.5-inch, 7mm height form factor. The drive’s 6 Gbit/s SATA interface and 5,400 rotational speed combined with a large 128MiB buffer and consistent seek performance, result in a 34 percent higher internal transfer rate performance when compared to the previous 1TB MQ01 Series models.
