CyberLink Corp. today announced the release of Screen Recorder 4, the all-in-one screen recording software for recording, streaming and editing gameplay. The new version provides support for multistreaming, chroma key and customized overlay effects. It allows gamers, vloggers and business users to expand their reach by streaming to multiple online services simultaneously while also adding fun, dynamic effects to their live events.
Limiting users’ streaming to a single service severely restricts the exposure and earning potential of online gamers and streamers. In a recent survey of CyberLink Screen Recorder users, 42% of gamers indicated they prefer to stream via Youtube, while 34% prefer using Twitch. Kingston Digital, Inc., the Flash memory affiliate of Kingston Technology Company, Inc., a world leader in memory products and technology solutions, has added new features to its recent Cyber Defense 2018 Global Awards winning IronKey D300 encrypted USB Flash drive to improve device management and security. IronKey D300 is FIPS 140-2 Level 3 certified and uses 256-bit AES hardware-based encryption in XTS mode. Shipping next week, a new Serialized version (D300S) with two new features will further enhance the drive’s already advanced level of security to safeguard sensitive data.
IronKey D300S will have a unique serial number and bar code on the drive itself, allowing network administrators to simply read or scan the code instead of plugging in the drive. Western Digital Corporation, a data infrastructure leader, today announced it is extending the breadth and depth of its data center portfolio into the rapidly evolving in-memory computing market segment. The new Ultrastar DC ME200 Memory Extension Drive is the company’s first product that enables customers to better optimize in-memory system capacity/performance for running demanding applications that drive today’s real-time analytics and business insights.

SK Hynix Inc. launched the world’s first 96-Layer 512Gb (Gigabit) ‘CTF based 4D (Four-Dimensional) NAND Flash (4D NAND)’ based on its TLC (Triple-Level Cell) arrays, using 3D CTF (Charge Trap Flash) design paired with the PUC (Peri. Under Cell) technology. The Company will start the early stage of mass production of the 96-Layer 4D NAND within this year. A single 512Gb NAND Flash chip can represent 64GB (Gigabytes) storage.
