Xenon processors require different motherboards than the Pentium chips, so they won't work on your Dell system. I would just stick with your Pentium 4 as there is no real reason to switch over to the Xenon CPU's. Xenon's are mainly used for servers and workstations, so I would just keep your P4 and be happy.

the Xeons are a different form factor than Pentium4s, meaning a different number and location of pins on the bottom side of the CPU, and obviously sit in different sockets and thus different motherboards. Also they run on different chipsets.

in a nutshell - 0 compatibility.
