Which Lite-On drive is most current: LTD163, 165, or 166?

I've been looking to replace my Toshiba DVD-Rom drive and have always read good things about Lite-On drives. I'm just not sure which is their most current, or for that matter, best DVD-Rom drive. I've been able to find all three of these models but don't really know what each offers in terms of features. Thanks, all.

If you can, buy the latest one, the LTD-166S. And make sure you'll flash it with the latest DS0F firmware I'm so happy with my LiteOn DVD drive...

The general rule is the higher the model number the more current the drive.

The models 165/166 also support the DVD Multi Standard, which should allow the reading of DVD-RAM in addition to the other DVD standards.

As vio_man stated, your best bet is to go with the latest drive.
