Verbatim DVD-RAM - Made in USA

I was just at micro center, and noticed that they had some Verbatim DVD-RAM that said "Made in USA" and in other languages, it said "Fabrique en EU" for example. So what's up with that? And stuff made in the USA? Media at that!? Am I see'ing things? I took a crappy photo with my cell phone camera if anyone wants to see.

if i recall correctly, there's a DVD-RAM plant in the US, Panasonic.
search the forum, it's been discussed.

didn't know about Verbatim DVD-RAM though.
