For example i need Hitachi GD-2500 or Toshiba SD-M1502

That model was also sold as a Creative Labs 6x DVD rom, firmware 0101 is region free by HARDWARE. No tricks needed :lol:

I have the Creative 6X (with DxR 3 Card) with 0101, and XP. It works like a charm.
