Super HOT! deal

Postby BoGMan1a on Tue Nov 05, 2002 10:16 pm

Saw this on Hot Deals Club site : Staples - Maxtor 120GB/5400rpm USB 2.0 Hard Drive on clearance for $97 (I paid $97.50 for mine). You need to actually go to your local store and ask for the deal. My local store was sold out, but they directed me to a store 40 miles away. This drive regularly retails for $279 so I can make that extra effort for the deal. They are going really fast!!

Here are some of the other Maxtor Drives & CD-RW Drive that are on clearance at Staples. Found out about them over at [H]ardOCP's forum.

Maxtor 120GB External USB 2.0 SKU# 486982 - $97.50 (From $279) HOT!

Maxtor 40GB 5400 RPM SKU# 466026 - $27.50 HOT!

Buslink 40x12x40 CDRW SKU# 481954 - $27.50 HOT!

Good in-store only, and probably not many left so call and give them the SKU to check if they have any stock before you drive 50 miles to your Staples.

I just came back from Staples and all the Staples stores in Los Angeles County and Orange County have neither the 120GB or 40CB Hard Drives in stock. Nice bargain for those of you who happened to cash in on this deal. I originally called on Tuesday to check if my local Staples had any in stock and they were out. So today I decided to stop off at Staples on the way home from school and they checked the computer for all the other stores in LA & Orange County to see if they had any stock left and no stock was to be found.

Even the BUSlink CD-RW drive is a great deal! I'm surprised there is no buzz about that...only the hard drives.

I have no use for another CD-RW drive, that's why I haven't said much about it. I can use another Hard drive though. But your right Wizard, the BUSlink CD-RW drive is an excellent deal too.

In my local Staples, there is never any External 120G hard disk ever, so I can not get one at all .
