There's a strike happening at Vancouver Ports by the truckers... so all containers of product that come in my sea are currently locked up in the dispute. This means that the owners of the products have pay a type of rent, or holding fee on their containers at the port, as WELL as not get their stock for an indeffinate amount of time.
This amounts to many places running out of stock unexpectedly, and shop owners running into tough times when they can't get the products they need to stay in business.
Up until now, this hadn't been affecting me.... but it just has, since some of the products my company uses/sells are now stuck in port.
This sucks!!
