(Woman at a society party, obviously dismayed): Mister Churchill, you're drunk!
(Winston Churchill): And you madame, are ugly. However, in the morning, I shall be sober.
(Obligatory quote)
At any rate, I've known enough health teachers to know that around half of them didn't become teachers by being the sharpest knife in the drawer. Working in the educational field, I've known one who a few years back got reprimanded for throwing a pack of cigarettes to an underage student in a store (she no longer works here now), and heard another one lecture (not in my school district) to a class that just like other things, you could become tolerant to your deodorant over time and it might lose effectiveness, so you should switch brands now and again (umm, duh, most of them have similar ingredients, even if you were right, how's this going to help?)
Sad thing is, this half, just like the smarter half, are the ones teaching students about teen pregnancy, STD's, alcohol/drug use, etc. I pray that all your children get the smarter half. If that doesn't happen, I pray you're doing a good job teaching this stuff at home.
