Well we don't know yet for sure about the drive itself as to whether its just a fireware updated DRU500a with updated software as well....but the box is just the DRU500a box with a new flashy 4DVD+-R sticker in the top left(probably to denote the ability that we already have with firmware updates to burn at 4x with either + or -R). Otherwise its the exact same box heh.

well, in the first picture you can see at the bottom DRU-500AX and it appears to be printed.

OH I wasn't saying that wasn't a realy box nor that they were already out...was just saying Sony used the same box design with an X added on to the name and a flashy new sticker
