Over the holidays I messed with forcing Solidburn on with my Benq 1640 and 1655. Results were good. But here is the question (and oddity). On both drives with Solidburn forced on for all media, the drive will learn and single layer media. But throw in a dual layer and force Solidburn on it will not, at least with Verbatim and Fuji DL. Any idea why this is? Checked with QSuite (forget the name) and you only see learned codes from single layer media....learned code table is not full and Solidburn was verified to be on before burning.
