Can it be done?
Last night my fiance put a new dvd-r into my Sony DRU-500A
The clot put his dirty finger print on it in the process.
When the burner reached the finger print at about 0.5 mm into the DVD-R it gave an error and aborted. The finger print is wiped off now and I am sure the DVD-R is fine. (I am using Intenso disks and aprt from this incident have not had a problem)
I am currently using NERO but have access to other software if necessary.
It is a shame that almost 4Gb is available but not usable unbless you guys know differently. Perhaps I should put it down to experience.
