Postby Jonathan Arthur on Wed Feb 11, 2004 12:49 am

Now I'm using Nero 5.5 on my PC but for sometime now almost all my RW CD failled to complete burning as well end up corrupting all.
I want to know the error and how can I correct this.
Thanks.

if your burning movies with nero, just use the nero express and put the file into the video_ts folder, then hit burn

if you have nero 6 oem, or nero 6 ultra, you should have nero express

just run nero startsmart, or just run nero express from the start - programs - nero subfolder

Really depends on the stand alone DVD Player you are going to play it in. We do not allow you to select Joliet anymore, as many DVD Players had trouble with this option. All DVD Players will play back when you use the ISO 9660 standard.

As for ISO 1 or 2, I would use ISO 1 to ensure compatibility with all Stand Alone DVD Players. Though I've not yet seen anyone report problems when they used ISO 2 standard. And the ISO 2 standard does allow for a larger nameing scheme.

As for charcter set, stick with ISO for best compatibility. And as for the Relax ISO restrictions. Its very unlikely to be a factor, as you are creating a DVD Video. If you plan on adding Data to the DVD-Video as well, so you can use on your Computer for whatever reason, then you would want to enable them. But if your only going to use it for DVD-Video playback, it does not really matter.
