Looks like ATI is providing a three year warranty. I'm thinking about getting one, anyone using this card? Currently using a 9800 Pro 128 and am curious how much of a performance gain there might be.

Maybe it's just us, but I consider a refurbished video card in general to be a big no-no, and so does at least 1 friend of mine.

I have had two cases that I have bought refurbished items (Epson Scanner, Wireless Router) with no bad experiences at all, may be these case were exceptional but if the price of item is attractive and close to the %50 of none refurbished one I go for it except for Monitor and Processor

I've had fair luck with refurbished mobo's but never tried a refurbed video card. I was hoping ATI put out a batch with bad fans or something like that.. Tried google but couldn't find any information.

With the three year warranty its probably worth a try with the $100 plus discount. First, a phone call to ATI and find out what "limited warranty" really means.
