Upgrading Nero 5.5 ??

I have a copy of Nero 5.5 that came bundled with a Lite-On burner and recently purchased a Plextor-708A which didn't come with Nero but with Roxio. I really prefer Nero, and the OEM version I have won't work with my Plextor. So I guess my question is if I purchase Nero 6 ultra upgrade via download will it allow me to update the version 5.5 to version 6 and it work with my plextor burner ??

The best answer to your own question is to go ahead and download the lastest version of Nero 6.3.0.2 and and install it as Demo version. The version will let you to install it as clean install (stand alone) or as upgrade to your existing Nero 5.5 version. You can then try it with your Plexor writer, if everthing works with your satisfaction, go ahead call Nero and purchased Serial Number to be instlled in your already install Nero and operate it as full version.
