software to use after saved tv show to harddrive-ati MMC?

alright I'm having a brain fart here,
With Ati's MMC it gives you the option to save in full dvd quality, and it shows Video to be: mpeg-2, 720x480 NTSC 8 m bit/second and Audio to be: 48.000 KHz, 16 bit Stereo

After I've done that, what software would I use to burn that to dvd.

What software would I use for an avi file?

Any DVD authoring program would work. I use Sonic MyDVD and ULead MovieFactory. Both can convert an MPEG file to DVD-video format. (Between the two, I prefer MovieFactory, but they're both good.)

I belive they will also work with AVIs, but I haven't tried that.

If you have Nero 6, it comes with Nero Vision Express. While, not the best, this program will also do the job.

Good luck.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure...
