Where should the DVD Authoring and Video Editing forums be?

following the discussion here, what is your opinion about the correct placement for these 2 new forums ?

It's fine where it's at in the Other section.

Software, for sure. They ARE software, after all! Can't author a DVD with a sound card...

But you do capture video with a TV tuner/video capture card. And that is certainly hardware. Where the forums are now, under the "Other" heading, is A-OK.

It really doesn't matter- main thing is that they're there.

TheWizard has a point, but it is mostly software. The distinction between "tools" and "software" is so arbitrary that I don't think it's useful.

i think the same.
true it is both hardware and software, but it's more software.
i believe most of the work involved is on the software side, and certainly the part that requires user-interaction is the software side of things.

maybe i wasn't so clear about the "Tools section".

basically my idea is:
the Software section of the forums would be dedicated to Software/Vendor specific forums (Ahead, Roxio, Sonic etc.).

the Tools section would be for software related themes, such as DVD Authoring and Video Editing. maybe also Media testing like some have suggested (for KProbe & the like).
