wow i managed to find this CD/DVD-writer for very good price!!

http://www.samsung.com/Products/CDDVD_Writer/COMBOHalf_Height/CDDVD_Writer_COMBOHalf_Height_SM_352B_sp.htm

anyone here know the reliability of this brand. the limitations of the drive and if possible the compatibility of media. i am looking for a decent dvd writer, and i would spend more if there is a good purpose. i will need to burn .iso and maybe backup my dvdr movies/games.

please let me know.. thank you

a lot of info about this drive you will find in Ian's review:
http://www.cdrlabs.com/reviews/index.php?reviewid=191

you can't use it to back up DVDs because it only reads DVDs. it's not a DVD writer.
