Has anyone been successfull in pushing this to a Memorex 48max 244816AJ drive. When comparing it to the 48161, it's identical.
I just received the drive recently and wasn't even able to install MOHAA from the original CD's, where the Samsung DVD and CDR drives worked great.
Tried using Alcohol 120% to make an image, and saw an unusually large number of errors, one block after another. Again, the other two Samsung drives worked fine.
Considering that firmware MAY be part of the problem, and other programs have loaded without a problem, I'm looking for a FW update.
