Well, I guess a huge change log would also mean many new bugs, as usually. :-?

Yes, I did but maybe it's not very revealing. ;) If you are a lucky possessor of DVD-RAM, try the new InCD, I'll enjoy some feedback. :)

Oh, and don't miss the new encoding capabilities of recode - it's impressive, great great framerate. (Hum... Maybe I should get some of their developers working for me :p)

do you mean register for the MP3 stuff?
go here:
http://ahead.de/us/powerpack.html
then look at the links on the right hand side.

Register for LAME encoding? Though that was stricktly open source and FREE (http://lame.sourceforge.net/). Strange.
I wonder what version of LAME is used by Nero: 3.90, 3.92 or 3.93? I still use LAME 3.90 for Mp3 encoding.

It appears that if you have a valid Nero 6 reg key there's no need to register anything.

If I'm wrong, someone please let me know. I followed the instructions on the link and was never prompted.

Dodec, good chance there are some licensing issues coming into play between US and non-US customers.

Same here. I followed the instructions and was never asked to register, either. I did the conversion and still no prompt. I did, however, buy the Mp3 PRO converter about 6 months ago...installed it with Nero 6. Is there something we're missing...or is it automatic with valid Serials?

No it's not. I have a valid serial number but I was prompted to register.

I followed the instructions to the letter and got no message about registration. It let me encode using the LAME and the OGG encoders without a peep. Another strange thing is the output format box is blank no matter which format I choose. I have to look at the file extensions in the files box above it to see what I selected. I have a valid code also. Anybody else get this?

Just noticed something strange with the Mp3PRO codec. I can enable it in NeroExpres by pressing the apropriate button, but not in Nero itself (button greyed out). But then again, my system crashed right after installing Nero 6. I'll probably have to try a new, clean install (that's what you get when using an old WinMe partition to try out new stuff I guess  ).
