Anyone having trouble with the nu ddw-081

I seem to get a bunch of coasters when burning bin & cue files to vcd. The discs seem to fail on lead out or towards the end of the burn. I also have trouble with video play back from the drive. Anyone have any ideas about the problem. I have xp pro 2400xp 512 megs of ram.

Need more info bud. SOftware? Firmware version?

I've used Alcohol 1.4.3 & nero 6 trail with firmware bx03 & bx06. I also had a failed discc copy(vcd) with the record now that came with the drive.
