Will old Nero registration code work?

I have an old Nero (5.5.7.2) registration code and was wondering if it would work if I downloaded the latest version of Nero Burning ROM?

it will work with the latest version of Nero 5.5 - 5.5.10.54; will not work with Nero 6.
